I am not going to be able to make my next payment. What can I do?
I want to cancel my contract
If you have a fixed term agreement, you will liable to pay out the remainder of your term if you choose to terminate your contract early. Alternatively, you may transfer your existing agreement to another party, who can take over the remainder of your term. It is your responsibility to find a third party to take over your agreement.

My contract period is up and I need to return equipment
As per our terms and conditions, all agreements will automatically convert to open term once the initial fixed term has expired. If you wish to terminate your contract, please contact us on 0800 753 273 and we will suspend all future payments.
Due to the current COVID-19 situation, we ask that you please hold on to any equipment until the current lockdown period is over. We will coordinate with you to arrange a return following that time. In the event that equipment is not returned to us 10 days following the lifting of the lockdown period, payments will resume until we have received the equipment.
Paymark has informed me that my EFTPOS terminal required an upgrade
If you haven’t received an upgraded terminal/software yet, don’t worry. We can confirm that the upgrade cut-off date – 1 April 2020 – has been pushed back due to the current COVID-19 situation.
You are fine to continue transacting with your terminal until the resumption of normal business – at which point, we will be able to upgrade you as usual. Our upgrade schedule is in place, and a member of our team will reach out to you in due course.
New Zealand’s Business Support Package
On 17 March, Finance Minister Grant Robertson outlined a $12.1 billion package to support New Zealanders, their jobs and businesses from the impact of COVID-19. Please ensure you are aware of these policies and how they may help you meet your payment obligations.
The $12.1 billion package includes:
Initial $500 million boost for health
$5.1 billion in wage subsidies for affected businesses in all sectors and regions, available from today. Businesses need to show a 30 percent decline in revenue for any month between January and June 2020 and applications can be made here.
$126 million in Covid-19 leave and self-isolation support
$2.8 billion income support package for our most vulnerable
$100 million redeployment package
$2.8 billion in business tax changes to free up cash flow
$600 million initial aviation support package
